Dr. Tore Knos is the president and founder of Champia Corp. A widely respected expert in the area of commercial construction, Dr. Knos holds a PhD and his dissertation focused on building codes and construction. He was an adjunct professor at Southern Polytechnic University, Atlanta in the Construction Department where he taught residential and commercial construction. With over 35 years of expertise in inspections, Dr. Knos manages Champia, and oversees the technical training of all Champia inspectors.

Christopher Howe has been in the commercial construction business for over 25 years. He worked for 6 years as a construction project manager with Beers Construction and Price Davis Construction. He has managed commercial work including historic structures, tilt-up concrete and major commercial renovations. Included are major remodels for clients such as The Home Depot Expo, Bellsouth and MBNA. Chris has a degree in business management and minored in construction. His varied construction background gives him insight into the cause and solution to a myriad of construction issues. Chris is a staff sergeant in the Air Force Reserves where he works on the utility systems infastructure.

Dennis Abell P.E. has a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Louisville and over 25 years experience in design, engineering and construction of light industrial, administrative, retail, and commercial buildings. His qualifications include a Professional Engineer’s License in Georgia/ Kentucky, a Real Property Administrator (R.P.A.) certificate from the Building Owners and Managers Institute and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University - School of Business and Public Management. Dennis’ decades of experience in project management of multimillion dollars building project has taught him that in the building industry you don’t get what you pay for, you get what you inspect.

Dr. Michael Molley has 35+ years of natural resources, wetland, regulatory compliance, and environmental assessment experience. He has conducted hundreds of Phase I (due diligence) and Phase II (soil/groundwater) investigations at apartments, shopping centers, mobile home parks, business and office parks, dry cleaners, landfills, and Georgia Hazardous Site Response Act related facilities. Dr. Molley specializes in Phase I/II assessments at industrial and manufacturing sites. He has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in biology, zoology, and environmental management at Mercer and Emory Universities. Dr. Molley is certified as an Environmental Auditor, Environmental Professional, Fisheries Scientist, and has degrees in Environmental Engineering, Aquatic Biology, and Biology/Chemistry.
